COVID-19 Update:
07/14/2020 A Message to our Customers
July 14, 2020 – The health and safety of our employees and customers remains Buchanan & Hall’s top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. As we prepare for Stage 3 reopening and increased human interactions, we remain committed to the long-term health and safety of our community. Buchanan & Hall will continue to monitor and implement the latest updates, recommendations and policies from the government and health agencies.
Effective July 17, 2020, as per new instructions from Huron Perth Public Health, ALL visitors to our facility will be required to practice physical distancing and wear a mask or face covering. Visitors are also asked to use the hand sanitizer provided or wash their hands thoroughly once they have entered the facility.
We would prefer that any customer coming to our facility would call ahead. If you require parts, we can arrange a safe way to get parts to you. Customers who require service are asked to call or email us instead of coming to the office. Payments can be arranged over the phone, email, or e-transfer.
We are accepting deliveries but would prefer if they are dropped either by the front door or the shipping door.
Buchanan & Hall remains fully open for business. All our service technicians, installation crews and office staff are working at full capacity.
Prior to doing any service for our customers, we will be asking if they have been experiencing any flu like symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with flu like symptoms.
We have given our technicians PPE and hand sanitizer, but they will not do service for customers that are currently experiencing flu like symptoms.
All employees who are sick will be asked to stay home. If either they or anyone within their social circle exhibit signs of COVID-19, they will be asked to self-isolate and get tested.
All employees will be encouraged to follow everyday precautionary measures such as:
– Avoiding contact with people who are sick
– Thorough and frequent hand washing
– Avoiding touching their face, eyes, nose or mouth
– Avoiding touching other persons hands, tools or phones
– Covering their mouth and nose with their arm if they cough or sneeze
– Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces
– Avoiding all non-essential travel.
As the situation evolves, we will continue to review these measures to ensure we are doing our very best to protect our employees and our customers. We want to do our part in helping keep our communities safe.
