COVID-19 Update:
A Message to our Customers
March 14, 2020 – At Buchanan & Hall, the health and safety of both our employees and customers, along with their families, is always top priority. As the situation with COVID-19 rapidly develops, be assured that we are actively monitoring the latest restrictions, recommendations and policies from health agencies and authorities. Buchanan & Hall is committed to implementing several policies and precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of the virus and continue our essential services to our customers.
At this time, Buchanan & Hall will be limiting any non-essential service to our residential customers, including preventative maintenances and non-emergency repairs.
Prior to doing any service for our customers, we will be asking if they have been experiencing any flu like symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19. We also ask at this time that any customers, vendors or delivery persons that are experiencing these symptoms do not visit our business.
All employees who are sick will be asked to stay home. If they have flu like symptoms, we will ask that they contact their healthcare provider or public health department. If any of their close family members are experiencing flu like symptoms, employees will be encouraged to stay home as well.
All employees will be encouraged to follow everyday precautionary measures such as:
– Avoiding contact with people who are sick
– Thorough and frequent hand washing
– Avoiding touching their face, eyes, nose or mouth
– Avoiding touching other persons hands, tools or phones
– Covering their mouth and nose with their arm if they cough or sneeze
– Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces
– Avoiding all non-essential travel.
As the situation evolves, we will continue to review these measures to ensure we are doing our very best to protect our employees and our customers. We want to do our part in helping keep our communities safe.
